Il Giardino – Ancient stone oaks filter the rays of sun, the elegant french doors are wide open and let in the smells and sounds of the garden. That describes a typical summer day at “Il Giardino.”, our intimate garden suite. This lovely group of rooms includes a small kitchen inviting you to cook the little delicacies that you may have found at the local farmers markets or in the small shops of the valley. The table for your al fresco meal can then be set under the branches of the grand, old chestnut tree. On cooler nights, the small fireplace provides cozy comfort and a nice, romantic atmosphere.
“Il Giardino” is a place for dreamy souls and is adjacent to our “Capella”, a unique part of Villa Barca. The old church that sits adjacent to the main building was erected in the 1700s and modernised by the original owner of the Villa it is now hosting our “room of stillness”. A quiet place to meditate, practice Yoga or just enjoy the luxury of tranquility. You can also schedule body treatments such as Ayurvedic- and other holistic treatments during your stay to enhance the perfect balance of body and mind.
Relaxation with a view: That’s what our guest can expect in our tranquil sauna-garden. Whether dozing in the sun, taking a refreshing footbath, an energizing shower in our grotto, or soaking in our plunge pool – you will always have commanding views of the valley down to the Mediterranean sea. A perfect place to just enjoy life and let go. For colder days our Finnish sauna along with some herbal infusions will make you feel revived and rejuvenated.
